Courts tend not to issue orders for children over 16
The Court will be unlikely to issue an Order for a child who is 16-year-old, unless there are exceptional circumstances which could justify making or extending an Order over a child beyond the age of 16.
Exceptional circumstances refers to a case which is unusual or describes circumstances which are uncommon and not regularly encountered.
